MEET TABLE LEG HOME & OWNER ZACHARY TISCHBEIN
Before opening Table Leg Home, owner Zachary Tischbein was an accessories designer working primarily in handbags for powerhouse brands such as Jonathan Adler, Anne Klein and Cole Haan for over 15 years. Spending a lot of time exploring local shops in Brooklyn and Hudson NY and Nashville, Zachary quickly fell in love with the eclectic mix of local artistry and curated objects. He was inspired by the way these shops managed to celebrate the contrast between old and new.
"I wanted to do something more creative and less corporate"
Using his creative instincts and background in fashion, Tischbein set out to design a shop of his very own.
"The mission was really to bring a well curated home and gift store to Montclair - A store that reflected the people living in the town."
Table Leg Home set itself apart from the other stores in town by offering new and exciting items to a large clientele base as word spread throughout Montclair. Featuring home furnishings and decor hand-picked by owner Zachary Tischbein, Table Leg Home serves the community's need for an upscale gift and home store targeting the younger demographic that has recently been flocking to the area.
"The community is so supportive of the store, and really tries to support small businesses, I couldn't have chose a better town."
